YES! In Brazil we have Equifort aka Equipoise made by Purina. The shit rocks!!! I remember that everytime I went to buy Equifort I ended up buying some ketamine

They had a show on health network the other day, some 11yr old kid cam into the ER with a broken arm. they gave him a healthy dose of ketamine IM so they could reset his arm. His father was trying to talk to him and the kid started talking about bananas and snow storms or some shit.
I fucked with that stuff a long time ago. Once put myself in a k hole, and fell out of my car. My friends found me lying in the driveway facedown in 15 degree weather wearing a tshirt. Needless to say, that was my last encounter with ketamine.

ketamine is used all the time as an anesthetic(sp?) for both humans and animals. It serves a purpose.

I have never used ketamine but I am pretty sure that it can be used safely. I could not find any long term health issues associated with it. Its overdose potential is very low that is why it was used in vietnam as a field. How can we expect others to be more objective when it comes to the things that people on this board do when we are not very objective ourselves. GHB is another common one that you get a bunch fools that have no idea what they are talking about lecturing how insane it is to use.

Yes. I think that GHB short half life allows more responsible use IMO. It cleared from your system and would allow you to drive home without being intoxicated. Alcohol is a known toxin. It has adverse effects to the brain, liver, etc. This is not the case with GHB. It also had pro-sexual effects like no substance that I have had.
While addiction can occur with any substance, GHB had very low addiction potential.
The problem with it was its steep dose/effect curve. People think that one is good , two is got to be better. But I never had a problem with this and did it on/off for years.
Don't do it anymore because of the demonization associated with it and it being a "date rape" drug.
Funny thing is that everyone always has a friend that died from GHB. But the gov. tracks deaths. And there aren't that many and none of them except one can be contributed to GHB alone. At least this was the case a few years back.
There was one famous case where the person only had GHB and supposedly no other drugs.
In Maryland in 2001, 19 people died from overdose where alcohol was the only substance. Another 120 died of overdose where alcohol + another drug was involved.
I don't know what the figures would be for the whole US but in would have to be in the thousands. So if some people die from overdose of alcohol , anyone drinking alcohol must be insane.
Now look at the total deaths where only GHB was involved or where GHB+another substance was involved. Almost non-exitant.
Its easy to get caught up with what the media says and what the gov. says. This is the same thing that has happened with steroids. Ask most people and they will put steroid users in the same category as IV drug users.

i was responding specifically to shinobi's post about it being used recreationally for partying. IMHO, it's an extremely harmful drug if abused. it's a dissociative and can reak total havoc on the brain. i'm not trying to act ignorant against it. but when a drug is in the same class as PCP, it can't be too healthy in the long-term if abused.
