Steroids and the Heart

Hey everyone, just wanted to know how bad AAS affect the heart. Everyone knows how to control sides like bloat, cholesterol, etc. BUT what can you do to protect your heart? Run more? how much damage do AAS actually have on your heart?

overtime it can thicken the left-ventricle so that the valve does not quite open and close effectively leading to some leakage. this, however, is not an absolute cause and effect and they have not been able to rule of genetic and other factors....and this is after long term use....

the real worry is cholesterol and that must be addressed via various means.

So cholesterol is more important to deal with? Just some policosonal would help....

And im just worried that AAS could lead me to have a heart attack or some fuckin anuerism early in life....even at 21 i feel like my brain is gonna pop or some vein is gonna break open when im lifting heavy.

now, this is another story--stay the hell away from gear until you are much older--you don't need it--you have more natty test and GH than I do while on---don;t rob yourself of natty growth by doing gear so young
 
ITs a combination of factors depending on the compounds you use and the dosages/duration you use them for.

AAS can (in some people):
-increase LDL, ultimatley increasing you chances of a plaque breaking off and causing a stroke or a jammer
-increase blood pressure (via water retention, increased blood volume, narrowed ateries etc)
-can cause hypertrophy of the left ventricle .... things is, weight training naturally can do this ; however, an AAS enlarged left ventricle tends to be more rigid than a naturally enlarged left ventricle and doesnt shrink as much even after cessation of AAS. (I dont feel like looking up the case study ... basically 2 twins brothers, 1 used AAS for 20 years, 1 just lifted, and that what ahppened to their hearts)
 
if you go on lots and do no cardio or intense Leg days I would worry

if you do do the above and eat clean you have as much chance at risk as a elite athlete healthy person

Ok ill make sure i run no matter what when ON. Im gonna wait a little tho eddy. I want to do OMEGA's project before i run gear anyway kind of like a pre cycle.

good idea bro--let your body do its magic w/o gear--when you reach plateaus that cannot be overcome through training strategies, then gear may be an option to consider, but consider it carefully.
