Thanks again for the feedback.
I will say that when coming up with the name, since nothing illegal goes on and will go on at any site I run, I did not hesitate to be blunt with the name.
Of course an idea for down the road is to offer some great supplements at amazingly low prices for the people of our community and the name now imo would help to increase viewership which in turn could possibly increase sales. Although, this idea about the supps is so ripe right now and would take much more time and energy bringing it to fruitation. We are thinking about this idea coming together maybe a year from now.
But I guess the bottom line is that I kinda knew the name would generate some waves. I guess you could also say that it was done on purpose(for viewership reasons) but it was done knowing that the site is strictly for educational purposes and that all rules with respect to illegal activity, such as the sale of anabolic steroids, are strictly enforced.
I also looked at the success of some other sites with similar names or themes for a name and didnt get detered through looking at the success of most of them. Anabolex is somewhat blunt and they are a very popular site. Hell, steroids.com generates enough revenue to be able to publish whole page adds in "Muscular Development" so they aren't doing too bad.
But I do understand your gripe about the name, your reasoning makes sense, but from my standpoint since I just want to see an educational site grow and grow, the making of the name was done with no-fear.
