Steroid Paradox

I've been fitness training/bodybuilding for about 12 years... and finally entered a bodybuilding competition about 2 years ago. It was a natural show, ANBC... and they only polygraphed. Now aside from whether other's did or did not juice and get away with it, I dedicated myself to training for 4 months. Practically the same food, same time everyday. Everything measured. 45 mins of cardio 6x/week, lifted 4 on 1 off. Took normal supps like creatine, pyruvate, multi, eca, glutamine, and a few others. Also, I never drank once in those 4 months. Result = The best shape of my life. Ripped to the bone around 5 %.
So within the last year I somehow fell into modeling and found it very hard to be disciplined at the same time. I figured roids could help... so I started with Fina/winny... and ended up 35lbs heavier..(not even ripped) Cool? nope... I didn't land one modeling job cuz I looked like a big gorilla, had temper problems, and didn't sleep well. After realizing I went on T3, DNP, Clen, NYC.. etc, etc to bring weight down... Now 35lbs later I'm back to where I was and have realized, as many of you have stated, that roids are not the answer. Unless you're dedicated; natural or AS, you should think twice about using if you haven't given it your all without juice already.
I know some would read this and say .. Damn 35lbs! That's for me.. but I tell ya lookin back now... off for a few months.. I like the me now a 1000x better!
 
This is a good story for those guys that say they've been lifting for 3 weeks and now they think they're ready for the juice. Then they don't even try to read or research...they just come on here and ask for a cycle, and don't listen when we tell them they're not ready.

How many of us can say they waited until they were 24 or 25 before their first cycle? I'll be 24 before my first pin/pill. I've been gaining pretty good for a natural. I've recently plateaued so I figure its time for juice. BUT, I've been in the gym for about 6-8 years. I can't stand all these high school punks who think they're king shit just cuz they got a fina kit and mixed it up. And then they say "hey, look at me 10 weeks in" and they're 145lbs, with no shape, no muscle, no size, no nothing. Whatever. :mad:
 
I am 26 - just finishing my first cycle. Been an athlete my whole life . Started lifting at 14 and never stopped. I would say wben I was 20 I was my strongest ( i worked in a gym and lifted all the time). Its been a series of ups and downs. I finally decided to go for it about 2 months ago - No complaints thus far.
 
Now you see, I hope the guys that don't reply are taking this to heart. You guys that did... at least you had a clue about what you were getting into. but another theme I was trying to touch on, was that unless you've exhausted all natural means of enhancing your physique, then steroids are a substitute for hard work and dedication.. which people who have been training under 3 years (imo) know little about.
