Steroid bloat and bodyfat machines

Wanted to know where water retention from steroids such as dbol or test would register on one of those hand held bodyfat testers...Would it register on the muscle side or the fat side?

Fat side at least on the tanita sclaes and the oregon scientific hand held I have.

Tanita versus handheld

I have a Tanita that consistently registers 4% higher than my real BF level. I also have an NAIS EW4100 handheld that I purchased in Europe that is nearly as accurate as hydrostatic. Only thing is you have to manually readjust your weight as it changes unlike the Tanita.
