Many people collect partially used amps over the years. You start out with a 10cc or 20cc vial of test, deca, or whatever... and may end up at times with 3-4 cc's of unused juice. I've always tossed these out after they've sat in a desk drawer for 6 months to two years under the idea that by having the rubber stopper punctured and the element of time... the risk of them being unsterile was simply too high for them to ever be used again.
I was recently discussing this with a friend... and he asked the question "Could you use 'light' to sterilize them?"
Light itself is often used to sterilize equipment for hospital procedures. His theory was... why not put old juice in a clear glass bottle and expose it for an hour or so to direct light from a 100 or 200 watt bulb.
This type of procedure is already used to sterilize everything from toothbrushes to scapals. Why wouldn't it work for juice?
I honestly didn't have a clue one way or another as to what to even say about this. Does anyone have any insight?
Could you enhance sterility by exposing juice to bright light for a prolonged period of time?
