STD testing

going to get an STD test tomorrow morning. do they test for HPV or can that only be diagnosed if the doctor can see a genital wart or something like that?

I know with women they can...not sure about men.....I know herpes they can blood test you for

I went to an STD clinic when I lived in Australia a few years ago. More of a precaution really. Anyhow, I'll always remember sitting in the waiting room with the thrash of Sydney waiting to be tested! Made me feel like I was sitting right at the depths of society!!
