What method do you normally use? Clean bulking? Do you do 18-20 cals x bw or use bmr, or another method???

I eat 5 times a day until I am full.

Proteins and slow carbs and lots of water/decafs.

No sugars ... no flour products.

I don't watch cals or fats (except trans). There is only so much proteins and veggies you can eat. Seems to take care of itself.

I haven't measured my body fat, but I have super thin skin and veins showing everywhere even around the navel. This is from the diet, exercise, test, HGH and a-dex.

I'm 63 and either on HRT or a cycle all the time for the last 3 years.
Best shape of my life.

I don't have a lot of background on your goal, but based on your reference to "lean bulking" I assume you want to gain muscle but minimize fat gain.

Here is what I've learned over the years.....

If you eat like a bird - you will look like a bird.

The reality is that you need to eat above your daily caloric maintenance level to build muscle mass. Some people interpret this as an invitation to a sloppy and high fat diet. There is a lot of similarity in the foods I consume while bulking and cutting, but the portions are different. My current maintenance level is ~3,000 calories/day. I will go down to ~2,200/day to cut...and I will go up to ~3,700 to bulk.

It's helpful to monitor your food intake and your body progress, and make adjustments as needed. I track everything I eat - the nutrients, calories and timing. I compare this to my weight, body measurements and strength. If I feel that I'm gaining too much fat, I can make adjustments to my diet or add some cardio.

Gotta have bread and pasta bro......whole wheat organic.....that and oats are fantastic carb sources...precomp, maybe ditch them....and no flour I agree with, but whole wheat is PERFECTO!

3700? Stats? Do you feel you can eat more than the norm on HRT even at such a low dose and stay lean? I am currently about 2800 at 6'2, and 168 now, the scale is moving very slightly but I just dont feel like its enough.....

Refined I'm assuming.......oats, whole grains, are the top carb sources......we need them......white bread and flour, etc....junk!

I'm 6'0" and currently weigh 217. My caloric maintenance level is 3,000/day. I've held my current body weight and size for more than 4 weeks at that level of intake. The only way I build significant size and strength is to increase my calories by 500-700/day. Even if I add a little bit of fat, I tend to shred easily when cutting.

3K is very low for maintence, its almost mine and I am 165..........I feel like shit if I eat under 3k......total shit.......

What is your age and level of daily activity? I'm 31 and my physical activity during the day consists of the short walk between conference/meeting rooms. I lift 4-5 days per week, and try to work in some cardio.
