Good luck and keep us posted on how its going for you. What are you on, how much and where did you get it?
what's up head?
doc has me on androgel at only 2 pumps per day. 1% version. only comes out to be 27mgs. i get retested next month to recheck test levels. went in at 250, was at 380 last fall. nothing i tried to boost test, worked. so hopefully this turns out. i also "fell" into a 3 month supply of testim, at 50mg tubes. don't want to mess with anything else, until i get the script dialed in. been reading tons, so i can figure out my next move. any suggestions? thanks
my friend just got switched over from testim to 200mg inj. every two weeks. he got no where with testim gel. hopefully this works for him too. personally i think i'm under dosed. but i'll know for sure next month. i'm trying to persuade the doc to switch over to injection. i'm the first in his clinic to go on trt, so he's kind of a newbie as well.I am on Test Cyp 200mg/ml injection that I do at home. My buddy was on Androgel but didn't like it as it was messy and seemed to take a while to rub in. I prefer the injection as I know it's going directly into the muscle. Thats just personal preferece. But good luck with the Gel if that is working for you..
Take Care
i agree 100% on that. gel is crazy $$. just found out my rx company is dropping testim as a trt replacement. so down to a couple of options.If.you can go the injection route u will achieve more stable test levels and its quite a bit cheaper vs the transdermal
that's exactly what i told him. he felt awesome the first couple of days after first injection though. lol. i linked him to this site for more research.Every 2 weeks is to spread out. He would benefit more from 100mg a week. Less hormone fluctuations that way
office visits for nowYa I bet he felt better. Low dose test for me once a week is fine.
Is his doc doing the shots or is the guy at his house
If you haven't felt any better by doubling your T levels, well into the normal range, maybe you have issues other than low T causing your symptoms?
just doubling ur initial low testosterone doesn't mean it gona solve ur problems u may need more some ppl need up to 800 0r even 1000 ng's to start feeling good it's an individual thing it's not about the numbers specially the conventional range which puts the 800 mark as the top end and that's absolutely wrong, many ppl live with 1200 ng/dl or even 1500 ng/dl and they're fine and happy, i'm not encouraging anyone to up their dose unless needed but to make u understand that u have to take it by feeling. it's nice that u switched to injections i say bare with it give it some time and ur gona improve later on, ur doctor may even increase ur dose to 150mg or 200mg/w if needed, most ppl take months to reach their sweet spot.
