Started dieting looking for advise

Well, first off thank you all for your great contribution to helping/teaching!! Been on here for almost a year and a half gaining knowledge (in fact my old account I couldn't post on for some odd reason) thanks to all of you. I have now been working out for a little over a year and a half and am caught in the "in between stage". I still consider myself a beginner that is in the same routine every week funk. I have gained muscle a long with some fat and am looking to diet down. so here is a breakdown: I am realizing I am going about dieting the wrong way so here we go

Morning 5:45 am: workout cardio (on an empty tank) 45 mins elyptical keeping 160-175 bpm (wait 45 mins till breakfast as I read somewhere on these boards)

first meal 7:30 am: 3 hard boiled egg whites, 2 whole boiled eggs mixed with miracle whip (2 tbsp) on a low carb wrap 120 cals 7g protein 6g fat 0sat 12 g carbs 6g dietary fiber

second meal 10 am: protein shake 2 scoops 50 g protein 210 cals

3rd 1:00 pm: low carb wrap with round steak 5-8 ounces lettuce and mustard and balsamic vinager on it

4th 4:00: repeat of the 3rd (it gets boring but it really isn't terrible) with protein shake

5th post workout/final dinner 8:30: salad with chicken on top with cucumbers salsa and balsamic vinager on it. other meals sometimes also like a steak or chicken breast with frozen veggies.



currently I am 24 years old

170 no idea on bf% but cant visably see abs unless I flex, I am guessing around 14-18%?? no real clue though..

Guys I appreciate each and every one of you, for a guy who has done the whole working out thing on his own your my only real "support" for questions I do have.

Last note, I started dieting a week ago today 12-2-04. and definitly feel "harder" and not as bloated.

Give me a few years, I am trying my best!! After a year and a half I have put on some good muscle, but my stength gain have gone so I decided to see if I can get lean (going to florida jan 1st) just to see what it feels/looks like. I will definitly be back bulking come feburary/march but this time much much cleaner. Hopefully in the next 2 years I can get to 190 ;) ..
