Had to go to the doctor today and cause of some boils on my thigh. I was curious about the timing cause they started around the time I started my latest cycle. The doctor said I have a staph infection and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of a problem? started cycle w/ = ara-test & tren

People get staph infections all the time they are very common. Get em from ingrown hairs etc or small cuts that bacteria from the air gets into etc. No biggie

Exactly. Staphalococcus (epidermidis and aureus) are commonly found on skin and commonly cause "simple" infections IE boils(furnacles), pimples, folliculitis, things of that nature.
Be glad its not streptococcus pyogenes.
Just curious, what anti-B did he give you? Resistance is common to beta-lactams (pennicillin)......doubt they tested for suceptibility.
BTW....if its Staph epi, they make a exopolysaccaride slime layer that encloses the bacteria in the boil....antibiotics cant penetrate......you must lance and pack the boil/carbuncle......shity.

also this is not the first staph infection i have had. i had another one about the time i started my last cycle and there were boils on my other leg. so it seemed more than coincidence with the timing of the infections that's why i was curious if it could be a potential side effect for some people.

dirty injections are a popular reason for staff infections....ie using a needle more than once or simply not using alcohol swab
