Thanks for the laugh, I played all 3 sports and there is a reason Hockey players only play 1 minute or less shifts.

Credit goes where credit is due .. carolina won on home ice advantage plain and simple . If game 7 was in edmonton it would have been a repeat of game 6 , as a season ticket holder i never missed a single regular season or playoff game and can say first hand that home ice makes a difference for sure .

Someone has to win and someone has to lose .. 3 games each means a pretty close race ... if they were to play the best out of 9 or 11 or 13 either team could win on any given night, it's not that one team is better then the other .

Oilers did pretty good considering they were 8th seed and played for lord stanly with a back up goaltender who has not seen action since march ... game #1 was lost due to a stupid mistake by a cold goaltender , if rolly was not hurt in that game edmonton may well have won it ... game 2 in carolina was a blow out because the team was rattled with a cold goaltender .. once again rolly probably would have made the difference ... how do you think carolina would have faired if cam ward would have been knocked out in the first game ????? Rolly got edmonton to the cup ... loosing him lost the cup , jussi is weak and lets in some real garbage , i can't stand the guy and i've watched him all year not just the last 6 games .

Hockey in canada in a lifestyle .. our kids play it on the street , on ponds , in there back yard home made rinks , in school , rinks are everywhere . Bettman pimps the game down south to cotton picking country for a few bucks in mechandising ... no one cares about the game , it's not like there rushing out to build rinks so the kids can play the game ... it's all about the money .

I laughed my ass off at the TV crews who took to the streets for game reaction and 80 % of the people they interviewed had no clue what hockey even was . It's an embarrasment to the sport and a testement to bettmans whoring for the mighty dollar .
