Squat vid: 325x20

Good work, definately an intense effort the whole way through.Reps 1-9 seemed fairly easy for you, then 10-14 got very tricky and finally 15-20 was an all out effort to the finish.I hope to see more videos soon:)

good work... i love to see people going all out in the gym
it actualy makes me mad to see bigger guys squat with less weight than i know they could handle.
go all out or go home is what i say
definately an inspiring video

one thing i noted though, you seem to lockout when you stand up to catch breath/rest for a second... does that bother your knees at all?

They're not quite locked out - close, but not quite. My knees never bother me from back squats, but sometimes my left knee hurts when I front squat (old injury).

Awesome job, man. And that takes guts. My favorite part is the guy sitting a little ways down from you . . . he's kinda' glancing over like, WTF? LoL

lol maybe that guy might take a hint and stop doing stupid seated dumbell curls.
Well done guinness great effort.

Great work. how the heck do you keep count when you're that focoused on the lift? I think I even lost count and I wasn't even lifting.

How about the other guy in the white wearing the visor, lifting his shirt to check his "killer abs" just as Guinness5.0 starts the set.

i lost count too!

GREAT fuckin video bro! Makes me wish today was leg day. Im hoping to MAX 315 next leg day! GREAT 20 REPS at 325!

NICE!!! thats exactly how you do em, first 10 or so no like a piston...then.....one...at...a....time.

you did like 21 or 22 though. couple for the road!!! hehe.

i gotta get my ass back under a bar. its been a while. I think I'll hit some OLY squats (I'll do one set of 20...in honor of this) today and then finish with some snatches. (i'm in that sortof mood)

good job!!!

Thanks for the kind words. It'll make 335 more enjoyable next week :p

Trust me - it's twenty reps. I've counted it several times now :D

Great stuff G5.0. That (the file I downloaded) sits next to your 335x5 squat and a failed dead at 415 from the beginning of January. I can't remember whether the squat was a max attempt, but I know your deadlift has stormed ahead. Great progress!

Finally got around to watching it...really impressive stuff. I love the expression on your face at the end as you're racking it.
I love the way you look down at the floor after the 16th and 18th reps, thinking "What the f**k am I doing, I want to be lying down there right now!"

i would have never guessed your height/weight just by looking at the vid. You look pretty big though (not fat) good work. haha i lost count after 11 or so reps i think. It looked like you were squishing the dude on the curl bench with your ass. haha funny stuff!!! kinda like that old kids in the hall "i'm squishing your head" skit.

more important. how the hell do you drive home after something like that??? driving with the leg shakes is annoying/scary!

Do you own any groove briefs? I would highly recommend them. they will give you a lot of support in your hips. I've got the Metal Viking's. Squatting used to beat my hips up a considerable amount. The briefs have helped some. Not to mention that they work almost in the same fashion as a squat suit (not to the same extent) and you will get a small carry over from them. And, they are good to deadlift in.

I've never used equipment to squat. I don't even own a belt. So far, the only issues I've had have been with my lower back, but lately it's been fine as well.

If/when I get around to competing, I'll be looking into equipment. I have been wondering though - isn't it miserable to wear the briefs from a comfort standpoint? It seems like they would squish the boys :p

you would think it is, but the Metal briefs that I have aren't that bad. When I put them on, I kind of pull my "boys" up a little, and get the briefs into place. its hard to explain it, but it really isn't that uncomfortable. the biggest pain is the tightness of the briefs around your thighs. But you forget about that once you start to lift.
Even if you aren't going to compete for a while, I would still at least get some briefs.

You had another couple in the tank there ... nice fuckin work, I know what I'm doing next Monday! :)
I wanna get 365x20, bro. I've still got a few weeks of these thundercunts left :p

Nice work, each of those 20 reps were solid. It looks like it's mostly just stamina on the 325s. In a few weeks 365 will be right there for you.

Also, it didn't appear to me that all your weight gain was expressing itself as bodyfat.
