Squat suits

How many of you wear squat suits while dyn squatting? I've read that you should wear them with the straps down. I've also read that some wear briefs.

What do you guys wear on dyn and ME squat? What brand of suits do most of you use? THanks
 
I wear Frantz groove briefs when doing DE. They resemble a squat suit without straps instead of a speedo. I wear a sing;e ply chamion suit from inzer for squat and deads but after the next comp i might switch to a haardcore.
 
I just wear something that does not restrict my movement when I am squatting, but then it is not to often I suit up. The last time I did I wore an Inzer single ply. I will be wearing the same for my next comp, even though I could uprgrade. If I ever compete again after that, I will go all out and get whatever I can that adds the most to my squat, just for laughs, to see what I can stand up with.

I don't wear a suit or briefs while dynamic box squatting. As far as a suit, I would recommend a double Champion, double Z-suit or Hardcore for competition. I've heard good things about the Frantz and Titan suits but I've never worn one. The Titan custom double-quad Boss suit with the NXG material is really supposed to be awesome. I may give it a try if I need another squat suit in the next year. Good luck!

I wear a fairly loose single ply Z-suit for all box squats and deadlifts. For competition, I will order a double Z on size smaller than I am currently wearing.

I have the hardcore and the old z-suit. no comparison. hardcore is the shit...!!

I wonder about a couple of things, since I have only ever used the basic Inzer. I will be using it again at my next meet to see how I compare to the old me, then, after that, I will more than likely get whatever can add the most to my squat, just to see what it is like.

I now squat with a wide stance, but I still squat very fast. Do you think that this will affect which suit I should get? I will probably be lifting APF, so I can wear whatever I want. I do not have any flexibility issues.
 
I squat wide as hell. It works fine. I get alot out of it. Not sure exactly but over 100lb i'll tell you that. But i squatted last year just 20lbs under my best with the hardcore then i did in my z suit. So it depends on how tigh tyou go. Both suits were the same size. I did have a better groove in my z suit though.

I may go with a denim squat suit in the future. Well test one this summer. Too soon to switch now.
 
Well I got to say Inzer pissed me off. After reading that you guys liked Inzer I decided to give them my business. So I called them, they answered, asked me if I would hold, and then put me on hold. Well ten minutes later I hung up, no one came back on. So I figured, hell there busy I'll try again later. Same damn thing happened again. I waited for ten minutes. And no one came back on. I understand they may have good products but there support sucks. I had my measurements and everything ready to order, and they didn't give me a chance.

So I called Frantz, someone answered took my measurements and I now have a suit coming in two weeks. I guess if I don't like it, I can make it into briefs.

I believe that Karin's makes squat suits and I will probably go to them when I get my next one later this year. They are some of the nicest people I have talked to and very knowledgeable. I will definitely get my shirt there.

Not meaning to piss off you guys that like Inzer, just saying what happened and telling why they probably won't get my business any time soon.
 
Dude your not telling me nothing i dont know. They were supportive last year and could be this year but i cant get my new contact guy on the phone at all. Its like this, i believe inzer holds alot of their stock in lifters on the internet. They sponser guys who lift fuckin nothing, but have big loud ass mouths that talk shit all over the internet. It makes me sick. Or if you have a known name or come from a certain gym. Ya'll no what gym i mean. They sponser names you hear about. They hooked me up with shirts last year and now i needed some new ones to use cause i am bigger now. Jason is gone from there and the dude there now (not JOn Inzer) but Bob is his name he willnot call me back. I never ask for jon i knwo better. But point is i started from scratch this year and sent in all kinda of shit for them , and they said resend, he must of not got it. I said fuck it then.

So now i have someone elses shirt and if i like it and i knwo i will. I will stay with them. It was huge loose and I popped 585 still in it. I sent it off today for re work and it will be fine. I will try their squat suits as well, later this summer. Why am i so hopefull to go someowhere else? Because of the way i have been handled. When i bench 700lbs in the next year i hope like hell its not in a inzer. When 750 goes up i hope the same! 750 ya right!
 
Mrs. Klein has all my business in the future. I have not tried a denim squat suit, but I may be ordering one later this year or early part of next year depending upon how the squat progresses this year. And she will definately be getting all my shirt business. No doubt about it.
