Sprucing up chicken?

I've been having having a pair of chicken breasts for dinner recently, with a glass of skim milk and some cheese either on the side or melted on top to slow down digestion.

It doesn't taste very spectacular.

I'm trying different spices and stuff, but all that does is add a little bit of flavor. It does not excite the taste buds.

Anyone have any recipes or ideas for chicken? Spill your guts; I'll appreciate it!

i'll coat the chicken breasts with either hot chili oil or olive oil. but not both!!!! then season with garlic powder, lawrys season salt, basil flakes and oregano. broil or grill not too bad.

otherwise why not cut the chicken into chunks, sprinkle some curry on there and stir fry it in some chili oil. throw in some fresh basil leaves, brocolli, onions, garlic and maybe serve with a side of peanut sauce. coconut milk would be good too if it didn't have so much saturated fat.

hope this helps

Mustard, salsa, hot sauce, no carb relish, those all add some taste. Try dipping each bite in a cup of soy sauce and balsalmic vinegar mixed together, not to bad, stimulates saliva production so you don't choke on the dry chicken. Good luck.

Mrs. Dash is good too...

I allways eat chicken thats basicaly all I eat. What I do is on Mon I grill enough for a week.Than for dinner and shit you can have a grilled chicken salad.Or take the chicken throw it in a skillet add some peepers mushrooms, onions, tomatoes.Get some fat free dressing or fat free sauce any kind you'd like you can find alot of tasty toppings with no fat and nearly any carbs.Than just stir that shit all together let it cook for a while than eat up.You can add other things to spice it up or serve on pasta one day unless your doing a low carb diet than try throwing it on lettuce.

Go get some tandoori curry paste which they will sell at ethnic or indian groceriers. Its a pink paste which you combine with yogurt Marinate your chicken in there overnight. The next day grill it up on a foreman grill or something similar, steam some rice, and you have an awesome meal.

heres one i enjoy eating every day. very quick and easy

Diet Chicken Taco

1 grilled boneless skinless chicken breast
1 large tortillia
1/4 cup shredded romaine
1/4 cup diced tomato
1/8 cup diced black olive
1 spring cilantro
1 tablespoon franks red hot
salt, pepper, garlic powder and cumin on the chicken to taste

bigpun -- I do the same thing with chicken and a curry sauce. For those dieting, though, watch the calories in the pre-made curry sauces. They are usually teeming with calories. Of course, the curry sauces are always better than the liquid sugar that they call Sweet and Sour sauce!

Get out some baking pans, cover each side of the chicken with MONTREAL CHICKEN SEASONING, bake for 30 mins at 350 degrees, put in tupperware. It's good shit.

Pre Grill/Boil your Chicken breast.
Slice a pocket in it, stuff it with spinach and cottage n oregano/red pepper. Put it in a pie tin...pour some tomato sauce on it, Put on some Fat Free Mozzarella, throw it in the oven for a few, then crank up the broiler for a few more and bam.

I've been putting it in a whole wheat pita bread - with some mustard tomato and fat free cheese - even though its better than tuna - its starting to make me add a bunch of stuff to disguise it since I eat so much of it.:)

Whole Wheat Pitas are the best. What brand do you like? I like the Kangaroo FF Whole Wheat Pita's myself but I think Saharas WW Pitas are less carb, they look good but havent tried.

I use Montreal Steak Seasoning...it's a little better...throw it on the foreman and after it's done, top it with half a cap full of newman's own balsamic vinegarette. Mmmmm

I always liked to coat my chicken in hot sauce and grill it, or marinade in a combination of soy sauce, oregano, crushed chilli, balsamic vinegar, and broil/grill

you could also try cutting the chicken to chunks, and stirfrying with olive oil, onions, snow peas, soy sauce, and whatever else suits your fancy
