whats the deal w/ this stuff?

does it really have calories?????

I use this stuff alot, I mean, i dump it in my coffee.

i know it has 0 cals per tsp. but where can i find the cals for it, by cup? I heard that Splenda has 100 cals per cup. so that would be 50 for 1/4. cup. I wondering for baking/ other purposes you might use that much splenda.

The packets and the bag are different. The bag stuff (which measures cup by cup to sugar) has fillers in it, and therefore carbs/calories. Stick with the packets if you can and use a conversion chart (which you can find using google or probably on this board).

holy crap. are you serious?

I only buy the bags!!!!!!!!!!! I did not realize there were different ingredients in the bag!

Well, which bag are you getting?? There are 2 different types of Splenda: Splenda by itself & a Splenda/Sugar combo. If you're buying the Splenda/Sugar combo it will have cals/carbs, etc....

Splenda by itself is an artificial sweetener made by chemically changing sugar.....

i buy just the splenda in a bag. Not the 1/2 sugar kind, just splenda.

less trash that way. Thats the same as the packets, just in a bag right? Or do they put something else in the bag.

Even the regular splenda bag (not half splenda half sugar) has fillers in it and therefore some carbs/calories. It's the only way they can make it measure spoon for spoon to regular sugar. I'll see if I can find a label online for nutrional info.
