Spironolactone vs. Xandrox for hairloss

The front corners of my hairline are receding. Which would work better to restore it? I'm currently on 1.25mg finasteride.

I started losing hair on this cycle, from the dbol I assume, I started using the spironolactone and didn't losy any more. It was only 20 bucks but did smell pretty bad.
I know it works for dht related hair loss by competing with the dht for the receptor sites, I've also heard that it will work with the non dht drugs, ie, winny, does anyone know if this is true?

I would like to hear more info on spiro-whateveritscalled. Most of the info seems to be on these boards - generally speaking the spiro. isn't well documented for this use...

I am finding some success using Nizoral but I plan to also use finasteride and will throw in the spiro. if others can verify that it is worth it...

I'm about to try spirolactone myself. From what I hear, the reason spiro isn't well documented is b/c of it's bad smell, it scares many people away from it. My theory on that is, "so does a little bald island on top of the head."

To answer your question, for every day use, xandrox would be better. But for the type of hairloss you are having, you will need to get the xandrox 12.5% probably b/c 5% hasn't been shown to have much affect on the temporal areas. The 12.5% has the a. acid in the same dose as the 5%, but it is 12.5% minoxidil. The reason for this is b/c minoxidil works in a dose-related manner and it's gonna take more to work on the stubborn, temporal areas.
Now, if you are wondering which to use during a cycle, I'd tell you to use both of them.

Smell of spironolactone

Apparently (according to minoxidil.com) the stench problems associated with spironolactone have now been cured.

They haven't, I don't know if the smell was worse before, but lets just say I have to get my lovin before I put that stuff on!!

I was originally put off getting Spironolactone because all everybody seemed to talk about was the "revolting smell" but I went ahead cos I heard it was the best and I'm glad because IMO after using it on a Primo/Winny cycle and being prone to MPB it IS the best cos I never lost a single hair and because it is a nightime treatment the fact that it didn't smell like aftershave wasn't a problem! I also used some Revivogen cos it is totally natural and doesn't dry the hair like Niz!

G-Force, you didn't lose any hair on that cycle? I thought spironolactone was only good for dht related hair loss, which winny and primo arent. I really want to try winny again but had some bad hair loss in early 20's due to it
