Some days I was Frank Robinson, other days.......pretty damed ordinary. Playing shortstop fucking rules. People look at a 6'5" shortstop.

I love to play shooting guard in basketball too. Short guys have it good. Centers get knocked about with elbows to teeth and shit.

Jose was good at one time but everything went to shit one year, it was shortly after he was caught coming out of Madona's penthouse that he was quoted in an interview saying that he was'nt just a ball player, that he was more of an entertainer. Next thing you know he's on Baseball tonight highlight chasing a flyball the ball hits him on the head and bounces over for a home run.
any body else remember that?
any way it was just a short time later that he realy f#@ks up, he wants to pitch, they let him and he throws his arm out
I don't think he ever realy recovered after that

I was a pitcher and shortstop in baseball. I choose football over baseball. Probably should have chose the latter. I went thru a whole season and only struck out once. Strong, but wasn't a power hitter. Love basketball man. I will play that shit as long as my knees will hold out. Since I'm bragging, in little league baseball one season I was 7-0 with 3 shutouts and 1 no hitter and a 15 batter strikeout game in 6 innings. As I got older, No one taught me to throw the curveball and all I had was a fastball. Switched to shortstop and outfield in highschool.

Throwing his arm out is not his fault. I did that in 20 minutes with a softball........was impressing the girls of course. AC joint popped out and I became a leftie for many things. I've never even tried to throw the ball as hard as possible since then. Don't want a reinjury, some AC joints never do come back together....mine took a few years.


Ball bouncing on the head.....thats what he gets for those statements I guess. I always seem to get embarassed when my arrogance gets the better of me.
