That chocolate/peanut butter/oatmeal thing of yours is absolute genius - if that was an original recipe I think you should contact Betty Crocker about the next bake off or perhaps this is a sign of eating way too clean for way too long...

Don't remember where she had it posted -
cook 1/2c oatmeal in microwave
add a glop of natural peanut butter and a scoop of
chocolate protein powder, stir and microwave a few
seconds more if needed

Try this if CHO isn't a prob....

Mrs. BE makes these antioxidant shakes for me, but they are not carbo free for the ketosis freaks...

Vanilla Protein Powder
Reconstituted Dry Milk or Skim
.25 Cup of Blueberrys
.25 Cup of Strawberries
2 Heaping Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2-4 Tbl Spoons Splenda powder


1Tbl Flax (optional)
5-6 Whole toasted almonds (optional)
Ice (optional)
Blend until smooth......

Sometimes half an apple or raw oatmeal too....
 
ooooh - a new blender project for the weekend and it sounds so much more appealing than pro powder and water...

Spatts, because of you I now have receipe cards sitting by my computer. I need all the help I can get though. I can't cook to save my life. :D
 
Ive been doing the oatmeal, peanut butter, whey mix since back in the day wehn met rx use to come in containers, and id sometimes use that instead of protein powder (matter of fact i just finishes eating it now at work)

but what ever you do, DONT put the dish back in the microwave once you added the protein powder, you should not ever heat that stuff.

I am in the process of trying to perfect an egg white custard - will try to work on it this weekend and post it, or if anyone already does it let me know.

Designer whey has a cool recipe book, i used to have it yearsss ago, i think you can order it online for free from their web site.

How about this recipe... melt regular peanut butter and hershey's kisses in the microwave.... Get a MASSIVE bowl of Edy's Vanilla Bean ice cream and throw the slop on top!!!! now that sounds like a treat!!!
 
another recipe...

get a clean bucket out, and two boxes of cocoa pepples... one gallon of 2% mild, mix and enjoy

OMG its been TOO long!! hahahaha just messing.... its almost meal time and I forget how to spell, think, etc.. LOL

I am actually a much happier person when I am dieting.. LOL
this might be the first time I ever dieted and *craved* bad foods... shit that I would NEVER eat!

like yestarday I wanted a hard glazed chocolate doughnut.. I haven't eaten one of those in years!

or a quarter pounder with cheese! another couple years since I had one of those.. its just plain weird!

hehe yeah.. a limited diet makes you creative in the kitchen no?

It was a cold night and I was craving a cup of hot chocolate which I had left over in the cupboard -- I decided to make mix my choco protein powder instead with some boiling water.. oila! hot cocoa ;)
