Space Program

I'm all for the Space Program. I always have been. But I was trying to think of what we have learned from all the experiements and such from such a costly program and I couldn't think of any. From all I can tell all the shuttles and space program has done for us is to give us pretty pictures and to try to tell when the galaxy began? Anyone know of any other important science we have learned from this expensive program?

On another note, who thinks we landed on the moon and who doesn't?

The links you posted was good information. But still it appears that space flight in itself hasn't led to too many scientific innovations. Science has learned much from building the shuttle and from technology derived from mission control. Blood serum reseach and cancer research is certainly valid. Not everyone in Houton works in Nasa.

I know. I was just messing with you. I know there is a thread here about scientific research that has led to everyday things we use. I can't remember all of the things that were listed but it was informative. MRI's is something that has benefitted from space research.
