I have occasional tendonitis flare ups with my left elbow. I use a Glucosamine, Chondroiton, MSM mix and fish oil caps.

I've found that of all the brands I've tried, Osteo Bi-Flex brand Gluc/Chond/MSM works best. I also take cissus (Primaforce brand), get a lot of oils (fish, flax, olive), and drink a ton of water (up to 2.5-3 gals on workout days). First thing I do when I get in the gym is warm up a little on the bike for 5-10 minutes and rotate my joints (shoulders, elbows, wrists), before I warmup with weights.

Of course I'm old. What's your excuse?

Dude, what Java and CEO said. For real it works. I have that problem..... I thought it was due to age LOL your a lot younger than I.... so it isn't age. Yep, Java and CEO hit it on da head.

Tendonitis hit me in my early 20's...overtraining with heavy weights and low reps. It was a learning process for me. :)

thanks a lot bros, i think what it is for me is ive been off cycle for a couple weeks, and im still trying to lift the same heavy ass weights i lifted while on, and my joints wont take it... thanks alot i will let you know how it all turns out

Fish oil is much better than Flax. The studies on the benefits of omega 3's have been done with DHA/EPA and not flax.

get em all.

as for that brand of Gluc/Chond/MSM, I haven't tried it. I can only say what has worked for me. I've tried 6 or 8 brands and the Osteo Bi-Flex is the only one that has worked for me. It may be more expensive than others, but I find it on sale (2 for 1) frequently.
