That is my yorkie. He was my mommy's dog. I inherited him when she passed on. He is darling, though. That is his summer haircut. I keep his body short in the summer and when I lived in florida. Actually, I think yorkies are great. I love them.

Oh. That is very sad. =-(

He does look identical to my ex-bf, whom I still love to death. I would take that guy back in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I would wait twenty years for him if I could just have him for 10. He was great.

My dogs rarely smell. They are kept very clean and are actually quite the dainty ones for dogs.

You would never be able to tell there were dogs in the house. :)

P.S. Usually, the babies are the ones who smell worse because they pee pee and poo poo and walk or lay in it since they are still pups.. trust me - I work at an animal hospital. LOL.

Nah, he is a little boy and he hates that stuff in his hair. He had just come back from the groomer and the groomer put it up.

lol, I thought it was a girl...my mom has a male dog. Every time that we take him to the groomer she puts a handkerchief tied around his neck, stupid looking!

Yeah, corky hates the hankerchief too. Male and female yorkies are both, technically, supposed to wear the top knot, but it is uncomfortable for corky. So, after I take a couple of pictures of it, I just go ahead and take it out for him. He does like sweaters and stuff in the winter though, because he gets cold easily.

aww that must be so cute to see him in a little sweater..When my former dog was a pup I tried to put a sweater on her cause she would get too cold, she hated it! Lol

Hey Blueta!

I just got me a new baby this weekend!
Another chihuhula (sp?)
He is chocolate brown with a white chest. He most likely only weighs a whole pound. :)
I'll take a picture and show everyone tomorrow. Out of all the others I have had this one is so spastic. I was trying to blow dry my hair and he kept biting my feet and as little as his teeth are they hurt :(

As soon as I saw him I feel in love
I think I will be calling him Diablo ;)

Aww! That's awesome. There's a mini pinscher at the animal hospital that came on off the street and I am DYING to adopt it but I can't. I love him - he's such a great dog.

very nice but I will never own another dog again. I had my heart broken twice with pups. First I had a pit names Bad Oscar that the asshole across the street shot and killed when I was 4. Then when we moved to michigan we got a german shepard named Zeus that was the smartest dog I ever had. Personally I think the shityy neighbor poisoned him with antifreeze. The other neighbors dogs both got very ill at the same time my dog died. The only thing was is my dog was a lot older than his 2 dogs. The fuggin asshole was salty cause his wife was leaving his drunk ass.

Damn. That is sad. I understand. Have you moved away from that area since then? Maybe where you are at now, it's more dog friendly.

Yeah, he is cute in them. He has a little blue turtleneck one that he loves. He will go get it for me to put it on him.

I moved from Niles, MI to here in 98 and finished HS. I stayed with my grandma till I was done with school. She has a weiner dog thats pretty cool but very defensive and not good with kids. Now I have a bengalcat. She's awesome. Plus cats are a LOT easier to keep up with. She can also play fetch like a dog and absolutely loves my little guy. If he's crying or sad she'll either comfort him or she'll claw at my fiance cause she thinks that she is being mean to the lil man and trying to protect him.

My b/f had bought him for me at the Wal-mart parking lot for 40 bucks when I was so down about losing my other baby. She can't take the other ones place but helped me heal. I just love her and she is the best sleeping companion.

especially pumpkin
funny thing is I use to hate chihuha's (i can't even spell it right) but anyway I got one and now that is all I'll ever have. I can't have big dogs due to my small yard and koi pond....I tried having a lab and he destroyed my pond and killed some of my butterfly koi that cost 100 bucks!! ugh!!

I'm an avid gardner and big dogs mess up the yard too much. I love them but if I were going to get another dog, I would get another yorkie.

you might just be surpised how bad little dogs can dig to...all of mine have been horrilbe...but they stay out of my pond :qt:

hmmmm...really. Mine doesn't dig at all. He mainly stays by my side 24/7. I am his only interest.

every one of them actually (I've now had 3)
I do leave them out back by themselves during the day while I work. I have a fairly small yard with a covered patio so they have plenty of shade. I have tried to leave the one I have now inside but the lil shit chewed the heel of off some of my expensive hooker boots----so that was the last time lol

That's so funny because I used to dislike chihuahas too! Now I don't mind these ones. They don't bark much, surprisingly...
