Sore nips...

Okay I might justbe stabbing in the dark here but it's the only thing I can think of. I've always had a mild-moderate acne problem but about 2 months ago it blew up bad on my chest for some unknown reason. It was bad enough that I finally decided to go see a dermatologist. He put me on Minocycline (200mg/day) and over the past 6 weeks I've seen a significant improvement. BUT my nipples have been sore since I started. I asked about it two weeks ago when I went for a follow-up and he didn't think it was related...I'm not so sure...the timing is just too much of a coincidence. I've only done one cycle (sust & fina for 8 weeks) that ended about June so there was about 3 months between the end of my cycle and the outbreak. I did clomid/Avena/Maca post cycle and kept most of my gains. Anyone think the acne breakout is a result of the juice? And could the sore nipples be caused by the antibiotics or something to do with the cycle I did? I started taking Nolva about 10 days ago just for the hell of it but that hasn't made any difference...I still have Bromo and Clomid on hand.

heres the short answers:

Yes, the acne was most likely caused by your cycle and/or post cycle Clomid use.

Your sore nipples are also probably related to the AAS. Clomid wouldve prevented the immediate onset of gyno.

Keep taking the Nolvadex at 20mgs twice daily (40mgs total/day) until symptoms are gone, then continue Nolvadex at 20mgs daily (if your pills are 10mg, break your doses into 10mgs twice daily). You should stay on the Nolvadex for 2-3 months depending upon the severity of your condition, and how quickly you respond to the Nolva.

I'll pickup some more Nolva. Just seems odd that there was nothing for 3 months then the acne eruption...which is now all but gone...then the sore nipples about a month later exactly when I started the antibiotics. Also, my skin was the clearest it's ever been when I was in mid-cycle...almost makes me want to start a steady never ending dose of test.

Question...I can get generic Tamoxifen for about a third the prive of Nolva...any reason not to go generic?

My acne got even worse 2.5 months after I finished a tren cycle and right before that a test and tren cycle. But No the mono probably had nothing to do with sore nips cause all it is is an antibiotic. One prob is that u don;t know what caused the sore nips if it is gyno did the test cause it or did the tren cause it so really you need to run "if this is indeed gyno" nolvodex and something fro progesterone induced gyno simply cause you don;t know what caused the gyno.

I'm gonna guess that it was the test...cause I did an oral fina cycle as an experiment about a year ago without any problems. Of course the doses were less but I'd still go with test over the fina. I'm about two weeks away from being done with the antibiotics also so I'll see what happens when I'm off that too.

Sorry for the very late response, but...generic tamoxifen would be just fine.

Isnt it wonderful what hormones can do?

antibiotics won't have an effect on breast growth. most likely its due to hormonal inbalance due to the cycle. stick with the nolva until things are "normal" again

Yeah...I know the antibiotics won't impact breast growth directly but I thought there might still be a link. My GF was on antibiotics a while back and they screwed up her hormones causing a few different problems. So I figured if they can throw off her hormones maybe I've got the same thing going on. I just couldn't...and still can't really...understand whay this happened 3-4 months after my cycle...and a fairly conservative cycle at that.
