Sometimes life throws curbs

Sometimes life throws curves

Just got back at 6 am this morning from a business trip ( cut short) to Dallas. Made a call to a very close friend on the West Coast late last night and his other half answered the phone. I asked for my friend and he said i've been trying to get a hold of you he ( my friend) had died 10 days prior. Since I moved I will not answer Out of Area calls as they are folks trying to sell me stuff. I disconected my answering machine for this very reason. In this case it was someone calling over and over trying to tell me of a friends death. My life was on such a high going so well and I now feel depressed and confused. It gives more reason to hold the words " live each day as its your last" so much meaning.

Sorry, it was inapropriate but I couldn't resist.

i was gonna say the same thing, but i felt bad. it was actually the only reason i opened the thread in the first place.

I meant curves and you made me laugh. Thanks, though it took a while.

LOL, I hadn't even noticed that either. I wondered why it sounded kind of strange though. :)

I CAN TOTALLY RELATE. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY DEATHS OF PEOPLE CLOSE TO ME. FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I FEEL LIKE IT NVR STOPS. I DEAL WITH SHIT THAT NOONE MY AGE (OR ANY OTHER) SHOULD DEAL WITH. IT GETS HARD SOMETIMES. ANWAY, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS.

Sorry to hear this. The same type of thing has hhappened to me 6 times in my 28 years. You gotta take the good with the bad and remember your friends want nothing more than to make you happy. Try to remember the good times.

Damn flex sorry. I know what it's like to lose a friend.

Take time to reflect on the good times. :)

[/QUOTIt is horrible.. I have some awful stories about losing friends.. mostly in car wrecks.. but I have 10 times as many funny ones. Though in Flexed's case it may be hard to focus on the funny ones now.. but we should all look to humor in times of sadness.
