Something just happened during pec inject

Singleton

5 min ago, I was pumping 2cc's of oil into my pec.

After 1 cc, I got a little dizzy and a funny taste in my mouth. It got worse. I pulled out. and capped the needle. I put it down and went to the phone, just in case. I barely made it. I got the phone and stumbled out of my apartment, into the hall. I sat on the steps. I called someone (no answer). I began to feel less dizzy. I hear the ocean. Kind of a hissing noise. I am covered in sweat.

I aspirated first. I got a bubble. What happened?

I think I'm OK now but I'm covered in sweat.

Sounds to me like you injected into a vein. Scary stuff -- although it hasn't happened to me, i've heard scary things about it.

Did you aspirate?

It it possible the needle went in further, or came out a bit? Because your symptons are that of injecting into a vein.

Probably. I suck at injecting. I can't hold the needle still.

What kind of damage did I do to myself?

Is it safe to work out?

Even if I aspirate, I still inject a small amount and then just wait for 30 seconds and then I do a little more and then wait. If everything goes fine, then I push the rest in.

same thing happened to me lastnight, I used a 23 instead of the 25g I usually use, a lot harder to pierce the skin. I was injecting 1cc in each pec, might have been from the chronic I just took a hit of but I started sweating man, it was wierd

Yes it sounds like you injected into a vien.
Do you push the needle all the way in? In other words bury the barrel up against your skin? Doing this will lessen the amount of in and out movement during injection.

Secondly you might want to consider sticking to safer areas. Glutes, delts, quads. Larger, thicker muscle groups.

thanks and karma.

I used a 23g 1". I darted it in and then pushed in some more. I didn't push the needle all the way in. Almost, but all the way in.

I aspirated. I got a bubble.

I did go slowly. very slowly. I pushed only .75cc, not 1 cc as stated earlier.

Didn't wiggle much because pec is right in front of me. Held it with my l hand and worked the plunger w/ my r hand.

I guess I hit a vein.

I really suck at glute injects. The needle always wiggles back and forth and feels just gross. Not that painful, but I hate feeling the needle going side to side.

Thighs are easy, but I can't do them all the time.

I can't do delts cause I can't aspirate.

So pecs seem fine, except for the veins.

Exactly! Good advice. I do the same.

And this is another example of why you should inject very slowly. If you slam it all in there quickly and you’ve hit a vein, there’s no turning back.

You injected into a vein. My friend did this once and he notes the same symptoms especially the sweating and dizziness.

Something similar happened to me. I was sitting down in my bathroom injecting in the quad, it was harder than usual when I was pushing down on the plunger. I got about only 1/2cc in when I got really dizzy, sweaty and lightheaded. Next thing I know I'm waking up no more that 1 min later with the pin still in my qaud. I passed out for a little. I asked a similar question on here and people replied that it was probably in a vein too. So I rechecked the syringe and found that there was a small crack in it and I think I was shooting some air as well as juice.
It happened to me another time where it was hard to push down on the plunger, this time I pulled the pin out right away and noticed the same thing. So for now on I check every syringe for any little cracks in it.

So I've got 1.25cc of primo and test left in the syringe. Hate to waste that.

Is it safe to use the remainder in the syringe. I can put a new needle on the syringe. Will it be safe?

I'll try to get my wife to do it for me next time. I've been "sticking" :horny: her quite a lot on this cycle, so I figure she owes me.

did you backfire anything into the syringe? if not, change needles and shoot it, just dont let it sit too long

Take Genarr's advice and stick to larger "meatier" areas. Sounds like you may have hit a vein.....but difficult to know if you did aspirate and didn't see any blood or anything. You may have also hit a good nerve. I know I've gotten symptoms like that when coming too close too or hitting a nerve. Never had symptoms as severe as yours, but a lighter effect.

Good advice, I always follow this myself, sticking the needle all the way in makes it much easier to hold it stable and steady.

that sounds like some scary ass shit bro!! karma for you for not dying on us. at first I thought that you went past your pec muscle with like a 1.5" dart. eeeck. good to hear you're okay.

You injected into a vessel, a little bit of air even into an artery/vein is not going to kill you or hurt you, common misconception.
You did not do any long term damage, but need to improve your sterile and injection techinque. It is easy for me to type this but seriously once you get it down, it is very simple, safe and straight.

i have heard of this before....it is possible that you hit a vein, but when you aspirated, you pulled out too quick and callapsed the wall against the opening of the needle. so you would get no blood. you get bubbles. thats just what someone posted a while back.

All this BS about bubbles... A few small bubbles during an intramuscular injection (even if you hit a vein) won't cause the symptoms described in the original post.

Unless the lightheadedness and nausea was caused by anticipatory hyperventilation (read: freaking yourself out prior to injecting)...

Then the most likely cause was injecting the AS oil directly into a vein. In most people, this usually causes dizziness and coughing fits that can last for several minutes. Besides scaring the shit out of yourself, even a couple of cc's injected directly into the bloodstream doesn't appear to have ever caused a fatality. (At least not from the pro's that have documented doing it, nor has it been with the people here that have reported doing it).

i have done that a few times and i start having a cough and feel a bit dizzy but it goes away in due time,, pretty scary shit though...plus i would never inject into my pec...just delt,bi,tri, calve, thigh
