when I am craving chocolate if I have red meat the craving goes away. Anybody else like this? Anybody know why this would be?
 
It means you really need some dark meat. :p

It happens to me.

However, today, I decided to buy me a Strawberry White Chocolate Truffle from Godiva. I can have red meat any time.
 
you know, I actually had a craving for some sweets today, but then I had some steak... and I totally forgot about it.

Of course, I eat at least a pound of steak a day, and then another pound of some other red meat (extra lean hamburger, pork tenderloin, veal, etc) :evil: :RADAR:

I was good today opted for some extra lean ground beef burgers no bun just some salse yummy.

Haha obviously not enough cause I tried on a dress today that fit fine everywhere else (actuually a little big in the waist and hips, sales girl was helping me zip the back up and was like wow that is weird look at all that room in waist but I just can't get it up LOL to bad the dress was cute :( ) but couldn't get it zipped near my boobs. It could be my lats to I have been working dam hard to bring them up.
 
You just need iron

A boobs avatar is also good for any cravings

that doesn't mean jack. protein powder, at least the kinds that I've seen, don't have any iron. Even one serving of red meat only gives me 10% DV of iron (and that's low, as I eat more than the 2000 kcal diet).

That does sound yummy. I love salsa.

I'm starting a very clean diet on Mon. One of my last treats. I will resist the urge next time (I have no choice).

What about green veggies they got iron I eat 3-5 serving of them a day and I think my mulit pack has iron in it.

your multi-vitamin probably has 100% DV of it, however, you won't be absorbing all of it. I'm assuming that multi-pack means you take it several times a day. If the iron in the pack is split up through the pills, then you'll absorb more of it, if not, you'll end up pissing away a lot of it.

I just take the whole dam pack with breakfast.

does it say to? If not, you may want to take it throughout the day, you'll get more out of it that way (cuz that's how its usually meant to be taken....)
 
BTW, when I crave chocolate (once in a blue moon) I just eat chocolate and it works fine ;)

I crave chocolate about once a month for about a week straight better to go with the red meat for me.
 
If you are craving chocolate, there is one easy solution. What you will need is one bar of chocolate...then throw the chocolate out and just sniff the packaging...you'll look like a retard, especially if you do it in the middle of a 400 person lecture hall like I did, but atleast you wont get fat.
 
Red meat is very filling, so it's easy to see how it could alleviate the cravings. When you're full, you generally don't crave any more food.
 
Red meat especially when you are strictly dieting cures the craving by releasing lots of aminos and complex fats into your body. You can then get an endorphine rush mush like the one you get from eating chocolate.
