yeah, i'd love to see all that power hit the ground. then it'd be worth driving. no point in having that much power if you're going to sit there and spin all day.
 
I'm not into NOS powered car. I'd rather take my G35, make some upgrade (Stillen supercharger, new headers and dual cat-back) than buying an already tuned car.

actualy, i've only had one accident that was my fault, but we never reported it to insurance. i paid for the other guy's damages out of pocket and fixed my gf's car myself. that little doozie cost me well over $1K and there's still a few things i could do to her car to make it look better but she says it looks fine.

NOS do you mean Nitrous Oxide Systems?? I have one of their systems, so I guess I could say I've got NOS, but it still sounds gay!
 
supras are pimpest shiznizzy ever.

i was walking to class one day and a supra and Rx-7 drove by. they were completely decked out, beuatiful cars. you could hear the turbos wind up (i assume they were turbos , i dont know much about cars) as they passed by. they were only cruising so myself and every other guy got a good look. it was kinda funny cuz every guy was like, "oh snap look!" all of them hitting their friend in the arm to pay attention and look. i dont smile often but when i saw those two cars i had a grin ear to ear. i was glad my dick didn't get hard, that wouldn't be good in front of 100 other people.

seriously. the torque put down by a V8 in no way compares to high revving hp 4 cylinder.

torquey V8 or high hp high revving small engine...they all have their place.
 
the handling and the look is what i care about most in a car. i 1000hp import doesnt mean shit to me. you look at it and there all the same. just my 2 cents

I've got a 98 TransAm. I've got a NOS system but I have yet to finish the install. I've got pleanty of power as it is now, but hitting the bottle would be a joy. I mean those Mustangs are fun to race, since they don't have much of a chance, but that day when that 03+ Cobra rolls up, i'd like to know i've got something on tap for him. At least until I get a good set of heads and a decent cam.
 
It all comes down to your driving style and what a car means to you. Both have their purpose. Some may like the Mustang's V8 4.6L (300hp, 320ft-lbs) others like me prefer smaller engine working at high rev like the G35's V6 3.5L (298hp, 260ft-lbs).

I like your numbers for the mustang, but too bad they are not RWHP, but instead FWHP. If they were even close to 300rwhp they'd put up more of a fight. I raced a guy to work the other day and at 120 i was on his bumper 3/4 way on the throttle. We got to work and when I got out he said your shit's not stock. I hated to tell him all i've had time and $$ to do is a lid and a magnaflow exhaust, then the look on his face when I said it was an automatic too. Sure manuals are so much more fun, but for the track a good torque converter and some traction they are amazing and much more consistent.

Now the G35's I love their engines. High and smooth reving. The only thing I love about the V8 4.6L is their exhaust note. That is golden.
