It has something to do with the fact that the white american culture has no direct history or culture. Because most whites are a mix of every european background. And they have nothing to feel close to.
They live in the city and both parents work and a large portion of them live in a stepparent house. Their father has never took them on a hunting trip, taught them how to ride a horse, shoot a gun SAFELY, or family histroy.
