The creationist question is something I struggle with every day, since being a biochemist I'm taught evolution, but coming from a strong Christian background I want to believe in creationism. There are a lot of problems with the theory of evolution that the general public aren't aware of and there are a lot of misbeliefs about evolution that many Christians have as well. Keep this in mind when thinking about this topic.

I'm actually a geologist if you didn't already get that from my name but I grew up catholic and actually got to see the evidence of old world creation and more fossils then I ever want to see again. So right now I do believe in the 4.6byo earth and that we did evolve. but I feel that can't be all there is to it, I still think there has to be a great mystery to life that has yet to be figured out completely and I know no science or religion will ever have it solved though there will never be a shortage of people to claim they have done so.
