Some observations made on Low carb diet

For those who know me, they know I have been on Crumcakes
modded diet. Been doing REALLY well with it, in fact BETTER then
I have with any other diet!! A few things I have noticed. When I
started the diet, the first few weeks I pretty much ate a LOT
of chicken, Tuna and Beef. I didn't eat TOO much cheese, bacon,
sausage or anything else loaded with sat fats. About two weeks
ago, I started getting a little more liberal with the sat fats. I
would have 6 whole eggs (sometimes with cheese and bacon)
for breakfest. I would eat ribs (fatty) for dinner and sometimes
meatballs:D In fact for breakfest this morning I had two huge
meatballs, 1 piece of sausage and a whey shake!! Yum.
Anyways, my point for this post is that my results have actually
been even BETTER with the addition of more saturated fats!!
Is this a normal thing??? I do plan on continuing this diet until
my goal of single digit bf is reached (hopefully by next summer).
So far, I have gotten tighter, leaner, more vascular (shit, starting
to see veins pop out that I didn't even think I had!) and just
look good! I know some guys might say, if it's working don't fix
it. I just don't want this shit to catch up to me or something down
the road. ALWAYS have had low cholesterol.

How fat are you? What is your caloric intake? What are your ratios? Do you carb up?

NJ- My friend! Long time no hear. Actually, I am about 270lbs and
at 16% range (getting measured tonite, but that's approx). I have
been taking in about 3500 kcal (avg) per day. I am NOT carbing
up. In the beginning of the diet, I was taking in about 100g
carbs per day (150g on training days) but since I have actually
lowered to 50g to 100g.

good work and congrats on discipline gUiLe. i can't believe you don't have a carb-up day. that must be tough. once you get down to below 10% bf, have a carb-up day on sunday and watch how your muscles blow up on monday. it's awesome.

Thanks Enigmaxxx. I did experiement with a carb up on two
occasions. They were on Saturday following an intense workout.
The first one was awesome. The next time I did it, I seemed to
be softer and bloated for the next few days after. I am toying
with once every other week though.
