Some Gripes About Being Tall

I AM 6'5". I WILL SPARE YOU THE HORROR STORIES ABOUT AIRPLANES AND INSTEAD CONCENTRATE ON THE MORE COMMON THINGS IN LIFE.

FIRST, NEARLY EVERY COUNTER IS TOO LOW.

SECOND, EVERY SCREEN, SUCH AS AN ATM SCREEN OR GROCERY STORE SELF-CHECK SCREEN, IS TOO LOW, AND THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO SEE FROM AN EXTREME ANGLE.

THIRD, PAY PHONES ARE TOO LOW, I MUST BEND DOWN TO EFFECTIVELY USE THEM.

LETS ADD SOME MORE.

Almost everything is made for people around my height, so I havn't experienced any problems.

But if it makes you feel any better, I totally dig tall guys. The guy I'm dating now is 6'3, and my ex was 6'5.....in fact, if I guy is shorter then 6' its a turn off

I've never had any problems with being tall. It's never been a big issue for me. lol. That's what you get when you are 5'4. I would love to be about 5'6 or 5'7 though. Hmmmm, I wonder if it is too late for a growth spurt. BTW, I love tall guys too.

im 6'3" also, in shoes, like 6'4, close to 6'5" sometimes, and i find no problems with anything. excpet my penis. it's size isn't up to par with my stature. i'd like to be a few more inches taller.

How about low hanging objects and short doorways? It seems that about once a month I bash my head into something. Last item I walked into was a hanging wooden sign at a bar I was in. I'm only 6'4", maybe 6'5" with shoes.

It seems that all of my friends are a good 2 inches taller than I am. And at times they tend to treat me like a "little" kid because I am small...(I hate that!..lol)

Sitting on the floor for lat pulldowns sucks.
Almost any type of exercise machine just doesnt fit right.
Cant do any type of overhead presses in my basement, unless sitting on a low stool or on my knees.
Banging my head for the 1000th time on that steel center beam running through my basement.
My feet hang over most beds.
Blankets and sheets could be a little longer.
The toilet is a long way down (standing and sitting).
My showerhead is way to low.
Forget about taking a bath.
Sinks and countertops are way to low.
Couches are to short for naps.
Paying extra for "big and tall" clothes.
I hunt, most guns and bows need modified.
Havn't found a vehicle with "just enough" head and leg room.
Leg room at movie theatres.
My riding lawnmower doesnt fit.
Trying to ride a bike for cardio is an adventure.
Our nice town footpath was trimmed for normal height people.
Most jobs at my factory where designed for midgets apparently.
Don't want a gravy hilo job cause there to damn small.
Walking down the mall, making eye contact with some chick, and promptly walking into a low sign.
Feeling out of place in lines or a crowded room.

And a million more annoyances...but i'm tired.

One question for you tall guys. Do worship short/petite women like me.
OMG...petite women drive me nuts.

And do you short/petite women prefer tall guys?

I'm 6'3 and the only problems I run into is because I am so much taller than my classmates I stick out in crowds. That means I always have to be in uniform code, dont have my ID on or my cloths tucked in and I am the only one they notice.

Another problem is freaking banging my head on stuff. I walked into a friends house one day and BAM hit my head on their overhead light and shattered it. Why can't they make ceilings a foot higher?

I'm exactly 6'. I'd rather be 6'2, but it's not one of my major concerns. Like Austin said, not to short not to tall, so it's all good.

I'm 6'5" and the one problem that I have noticed lately is that I hate riding in my friends cars. Even in the front passenger seat there is no leg room. It exponentially worse when there is someone sitting in back. I haven't seen the back seat of a car in years (hmmmmm, Imay have to move this to the sheets board). Whenever I go placed with a group of friends I want to drive just so I can have extra leg room, though I feel bad for the poor sucker who has to fold in behind me.

Well its nice to see I am not the only person that complains about being tall 6'4-6'5 depends on if i am wearing my docs or not. The worst has to be trying to ride in other peoples cars, riding in the backseat "groans" or having some fucker behind you so you have to put the seat up is the worst. Well then you have the nice advantage of having NO CLOTHES to buy worth shit off the racks, all my pants have to be 36 long and here is something just try to find a pair of kakis off the rack that size and if you do let me know where =p. So you end up buying something with a waist a couple sizes big so you can pull em down a little bit so it doesn't look like you are wearing floods, lets see you hit your fucking head on everything you can think of and some things you wouldn't think of, then the BEST IS THIS. Unless you have a king size bed good luck finding one that your fucking feet don't hang off the end, even in a queen size i end up sleeping sideways just so my feet arn't at the very end, this becomes a HUGE pain in the ass espically if you stay at anyone elses house and they don't understand why you don't want to sleep on the couch with your feet hanging off at the calves ahh well the ladies love my height so I guess it evens out in the end.

Ps- Someone mentioned earlier about if I love short girls I LOVE SHORT women bout 5'4 is perfect hehe =p.

well at 5'7-8" isn't real fun either since I have to shop in the tall guy section to find something that will fit my shoulders and neck, then the shit will hang around my fucking knees , If I was about 6' i would be happy. But I would feel bad if anyone who was over 6 foot came to my mom's house, she's 4'11" and she decorates that way all the handles are low and the decorations will kill anyone over 6 foot...... Guess it is her way of getting revenge....
