He tells them he has a house in N.O. for rent and for $1k he gives them a bogus lease & key. They had dozens of people trying to get their key to fit the door with no luck.

Actually someone is living in the house and she showed her rent was payed by the H.A.N.O., the Housing Authority of New Orleans.
