If you've got a lean, big body, you may not be concerned with putting on good size...It might be enought to eat halfway clean, exercise right, and the physque will be just waht you want.

If you're on the leaner size, you will have to up the calories but the key is to not increase your daily calories with absolute junk. Increase the proteins, fats, limit the carbs. Some junk is ok, but too much and you'll lose definition.
 
You are exactly right Cheapy. Also more then likley your workout will need to be tuned up. If you tend to have a thin layer of fat between your muscle and skin maybe just a tiny bit more volume and very limited cardio.
If you just cant seem to gain any size or if you look great right after your workout but then loose that the rest of the week, then you need to up your intensity. For you less is more.
Your diet is every bit as important as your workout prolly even more.
