Well honestly. I think that it was some one that was close to the family or some one who knew about the baby. The news said that there was a welcome home sign out front so the napper knew there was a new baby but that is BS. I believe that some one most likely either wanted a baby, or ended up losing one so they wanted to replace it. Another thought is what about the father! Maybe a girlfriend or an ex that is jealous...I mean really the possibilities on this case are endless. However one thing I will say is that the baby is not dead. She is being used as some one elses child. But with the Amber alert, the napper will make a mistake eventually, whether it be doctors office or out in public!

I haven't heard the case. How badly was the mom stabbed? Sounds staged. If someone sets out to kill a woman and take the baby, they will kill her. My bet is on the mom being guilty.
There is another case her in Florida where the kid has been missing for about 20 days now. The mom commited suicide a day or so after the kid went missing. Someone saw the mom leaving a forrest the day before the kid went missing. Search dogs have picked up the scent all the way to a lake in those woods. Sad thing is that the lake is full of gators, so they will probably never recover a body. My guess is that she was sort of neglecting the child and an accident happened or that she got frustrated and hit him or shook him too hard. Then she dumped the body and offed herself.

If someone slashes you from ear to ear and you don't die, it is because the wound was superficial and not all that deep. You cut those carotid arteries and someone bleeds out FAST. End of story.
Plus, there aren't too many baby snatchers out there. It rarely ever happens. However, there are bunches of those Susan Smith psychos.

Regardless, just from the fact of her throat being slashed, and her not dying, it sounds incredibly staged to me.

Those cases are extremely rare, and when two women fight and one has a knife, there are going to be lots of defensive wounds on the hands and lots of stab wounds here and there, not just a slashed throat unless the person really was able to sneak up on the victim. That just doesn't seem plausible here.
