I always said I'd probably get an Xbox 360 again if I didn't have to pay for it, and now's my chance!

GF needs a laptop, and just so happens that Microsoft has a free console deal packed with it. We both win.

Halo 3/Reach are obvious must plays, like Gears 2/3. Might try out RDR for it too. What sucks is that once I throw in $45/yr for XBL plus the HDD upgrade to make it worthwhile (deal's only good for the neutered 4GB model), Microsoft basically makes their original deal back anyways.

Oh well it's still a deal. Now I can no longer be considered a PS3 fanboy.

i been playing my 360 a helluva lot more than my ps3. i like FPS/3rd person shooters much better on xbox.

lately i been getting the xbox version of games rather than the 360, unless they specifically state the ps3 version is better.

I just have a 360 and I love it. There are a few games I would like to try on a PS3 but not enough to buy a system.

The 360 controller is much better for fps games.

Also Forza Motorsport 3 is a must if you like racing games.

wish i could use a mouse and keyboard for 360 FPS...i've never *truly* gotten the hang of shooting people in multiplayer with a joy stick. i used to be sick at twitch shooting. not the same

+1 to mouse and keyboard. unreal tournament and all those games when they first came out on pc were killer. i spent 4 straight days playin ctf on UT and i broke the top 1000. went to school for the day after a long weekend, came back and i was at like 90,000 or something. very discouraging. i always played playstation so i got used to the controller so i always preferred that. plus i like role playin games like final fantasy 7 and shit
