So I ran 3.5 miles last night..

Longest I've run in several years. I was high for 2 hours afterwards. I'm gonna start doing this once a week to get back in good cardio shape. I didn't even think I could run that far. I could have gone a lot farther but my knees and hips started to hurt and 3 miles is a great distance to get in real good cardio shape.
 
its great eh? im training for a 10k. so far im able to run 5 miles at 8 mins before getting pretty tired, i could probably make 7 @ 10 mins, but i want to do this 10k @ 7 mins a mile. its 27 days a way and im really hyped for it. shin splints are killing me tho.

I'm just doing it for the conditioning. I've gotten out of shape for my standards and nothing gets me in shape like running.

for sure. all we do for wrestling season cardio at college is sprints and more sprints.

I always hates sprints, but they're excellent for anaerobic conditioning.
