it has, what is best described, as a "mouse scoll wheel" located on the side of the touch pad.

It was woking, not it wont let me scroll down a page.


Thoughts?

Oh and I almost forgot, make sure you have selected the page to scroll down. Just click on the page and it should work. If not, it's mechanical. You can try checking Control Panel.

like he said click on the page then try to scroll down...if not go into control panel and then into mouse and see if it is on....if the scrolling still wont work i would take it back to the store or place you bought it and show them.

Let me see... being that is a propietary thing, you need to go to the mouse property page in the Control Panel and see the tab for the pad. In most cases, the tab you ae looking for WILL NOT APPEAR if you have a conventional mouse (and no, the color of the cover you use will not have an impact on this) attached to the system... in that case, you will only see the tabs for the external mouse... so unhook the external cute-ass geigh pink-cover mouse and if you need, boot up with nothing attached.

Then look for the Touchpad tab in the mouse propery applet.

After that, approve this post
