So how well will anti-oxidents and vitamins protect DNP users against cancer?

Not worth the risks...

Again, what's worth to you may or may not be worth it to myself.

I am not condoning dnp, just trying to learn more on the matter. Please let's not turn this to another thread on weather or not it is worth it to take dnp, there are countless threads already.

Everyone has different goals and different reasons for doing things and I don't believe it is fair for any of us to judge each other. I do believe we can educate ourselves more on the matter so we can make better "educated" decisions.

I agree, but there are safer ways to get to those goals then taking pesticide.

I honestly don't think taking DNP could ever be considered an educated decision...not in my eyes at least.

How is this any different than using penicillin to fight off disease? Just because it's made from mold doesn't mean it's useless or even dangerous. So DNP was used as a pesticide, or in conjunction with TNT, or as a dye, etc. Because it kills bugs doesn't necessarily mean it kills humans. Chocolate can kill a dog, but it sure doesn't kill humans. Yes, DNP is dangerous. Yes, there are safer ways to get to those goals (for some). The real question which is the precise reason behind this thread is whether DNP is as safe/dangerous as people think.

A lot of the dangers of DNP can be avoided through supplementation and sane usage, but sk* has a really good question. Are the antioxidants that people use really enough to counter the rapid release of free radicals? Personally I'm not too afraid of getting cancer through this mechanism. 7 days of DNP at 200-400mg while using a boatload of antioxidants really doesn't seem like a big threat for cancer to me.

Then again I don't plan on using DNP very often. I'm only using it because I wanted to see if something could finally help me get rid of stubborn fat. Those safer methods just don't cut it for some people. I can diet down properly and train right and get cut in most areas except a few and I'll lose muscle before I ever lose fat there normally.

besides.. back in the 30's I believe it use to be a weight-loss supplement. No reported cases of cancer just a few cataracts here and there. Also note that these people were taking it continuously for months, if not years.

The cancer would happen maybe a decade after dnp use. As a friend pointed out to me, noone was following these people to make sure their healths were in check.

With all that information on it..why the fuck would you want to take this shit?

that's about < 1% of all the information on it.

If you actually read about DNP and still don't like it, that's fine...but making comments on something you know nothing about is pure ignorance.

SK...there's some info on DNP actually being used to fight cancer...it's in the smokinghawk 'DNP for dummies" thread in the hall of fame...I'm not plat though so I can't look at it :-P

Bulldog...are you natural? There are safer ways to get bigger the AS...do you use creatine? there are safer ways to ingest that chemical naturally then through a product that can cause you liver damage. Do you drink? My point, i am sure is clear and I am not trying to be a dick so please do not be offended. I use DNP, I think it is amazing...I also only use it for 7 days as part of a 2 week diet involving carb depletion and carb loading etc. I don't use crazy dosages. Look at how many health problems are associated with taking any oral steriod.....there is risk. This issue is if there is fact that taking DNP will cause cancer then it is a whoole different ball game. I think the thread was looking for medical opions of how the free radicals operate with in your cells and what is the chance if any of them forming a malignancy. there are so many things that people can say are not worth the risk...do you drive over 75mph?

Please let's just go back to the original topic.
