Snowboarding gear?>

So I'm going snowboarding my bday weekend and want to be stocked up on all the ridiculous snowboarder gear I can find...any suggestions?

I'm thinking underarmour top to bottom. Some very professional goggles...Winter hat straight outta A Xmas Story...what else? I'm bringing my own snowbunny too...

Just go to a snowboard shop near you. Don't go to Sports Authority or anything, they'll rip you off. This time of year, you won't find too many sales, you you'll get ass raped either way.

That's why I wondered about his skill.

If he is still learning, he will look like a n00b who ran out and spent a bunch of money to look like he knows what he is doing only to look ridiculous on the slopes.

I would consider myself pretty decent at boarding and I still wear plain ole clothes I'd shovel the driveway in. Remember, the more professional you look the better everyone will expect you to be. (plus they will all be staring at you waiting for a half pipe 720 or something)

I agree... I'm 6'3" @ 240#. People look at me funny... until they see me ride. I've been boarding for ~12 years and am up in the mountains just about every weekend. I love living in Colorado and being an hour and a half drive from some of the best resorts in the country...

We're gonna be heading up to Killington, VT. Went last year and there were some pretty good people out there. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get run over one of these times LOL.
