We're supposed to get 8" today. I probably should have left early as I anticipate a longer-than-usual commute into the office.....but it's so cozy at home!
 
I can't choose from the slew of 8" comments that I want to type, so I'll just plainly state that my hog is 8" give or take 5.
 
Ive got 8 inches also, but since you are a very decent and sweet person I will spare you the tasteless jokes.

You know when I wrote this, I was thinking that people would think 8" in a sexual way. But when you throw in the word "scaping" which is what I associate with the 8" I'm getting today, it's not so sexy. ;)

My 10 minute drive was almost 40. Oh well! It was 32º and I didn't even wear a coat. I just joyufully pranced around my truck getting all the snow off of it. It's not really winter until I slide through both stop signs on the street my office is on....and I did. I love winter!

I know. I just woke up and looked outside only to say "holy shit". I didn't even know we were supposed to get snow today. My GF left my house for the airport this morning too not knowing it was snowing. I hope she made it on time.
 
I live in Iceland and.... NO DAMN SNOW!

ps: there is no global warming.
 
I can't help but chuckle when I see Americans getting intimidated by/ astounded by a foot of snow or so. (Not a knock on Raina, btw, a generalization about some stuff I've seen posted on this board and others over the past few days). In Canada, we call that a base coat. I'm glad there's snow down...I find it near impossible to get into the Christmas spirit and start shopping without it.

I don't see a foot of snow as being a really big deal. It's more of a pain in the butt because everyone seems to forget how to drive in it despite the fact that we live in a snowy state.

I think it looks lovely out today! I'd rather be outside prancing instead of at my desk.

We only ended up getting just a few inches of snow...it is starting to taper off here.

I love snow when it comes to skiing and snowmobiling...I just don't like the shoveling, scrapping, cold and driving part... :)
 
i have started to hate snow since it means walking 20 blocks to the gym when no storekeepers shovel their sidewalks and i have to jump over huge slush puddles to cross each intersection. they plow the streets and the shit just piles up at the intersections screwing the pedestrian over.
