Snow Day!!

Seashell

El Kabong

:elephant: :D

I just about got blown off my doorstep in my pyjamas just now, after first having to force the door open (snow drift). A ridiculous amout of snow fell overnight, and now the freezing rain is coming down hard. I was going to at least make an attempt to drive in, but after getting whipped in the face with the ice bits.. I think no.

So I'm about to roll my lazy carcass right back into bed.. ;)

Yes, lets go back to bed Seashell.

go to work lazy.

No YOU! :D

I am however going to to make snow-angels once it gets light out.. maybe throw a snowball or two at some unsuspecting stranger.. (I don't know any of my neighbours yet..this may be a good way to break the ice don't you think?)

you get snowed out of work in Canada? :lmao:...

Work, school.. shopping... more like you get snowed IN.. to your house. :)

I'm fairly certain my car is out there somewhere, there is a weird shape on the laneway and I'll assume that's it.

Powerslwave: Done! :sleep2: :)

Not again.

What amount is it this time for Toronto, a couple of inches!!

Shall I call in the National Guard for you like last time :lmao: ;) ;) ;)

When I was your age I would walk to work, up hill both ways, with no boots or gloves!!

People are getting soft nowadays!!! ;)

Is that the Canadian spelling for pajamas?

pyjamas

\Py*ja"mas\, or, chiefly U. S., Pajamas \Pa*ja"mas\, n. pl. A garment, similar to the Oriental pyjama (which see), adopted among Europeans, Americans, and other Occidentals, for wear in the dressing room and during sleep; also, a suit of drawers and blouse for such wear.

Hmmph!

We had snow last night, too. It was the real wet southern snow, some people call it rain, but I like to look at it as melted snow. ;)

Listen you..there is a LOT of snow here. :) And an ample amount of freezing rain on top. Wait till you move here, you'll see..

AND, it was the Army, not the National Guard thank you very much. I was living downtown at the time, and trust me, it was needed. lol. I have never seen so much fall in 3 days, and in a congested downtown area, that makes for a nightmare. You were basically playing chicken, in your car. The side streets weren't ploughed, so there was one set of tire tracks down the middle.. you have to go fast or you get stuck..the snow was piling up on my hood as I drove, I was infact ploughing with my car. Anyway, when someone comes from the other direction..you can't get around each other.. and neither person wanted to get stuck, so we basically kept driving directly towards one another until somone caved and swerved into the snow (thus, getting stuck). Insanity. I won some, I lost some, and I don't think I've ever done so much cursing in my life. lol

Just shoveled th driveway...damn that's alot of snow.

I should get the power shovel. Or, wait for the Army to come by...:D

Cleared the driveway. Good thing I have a kick ass snowblower. Took the Tahoe for a spin around the block. That was an adventure! I feel a nap coming on.

pajamas is indian.

now go back to bed.

I don't see anything in that definition about Indians. Or Canadians for that matter. We must fall under the "Occidentals" category.. wtf?
