Why do people watch this show still? I watched 25 minutes of it tonight for the first time in a year and it was horrible, didn't laugh once.

Maybe cuz the hosts were nick and jessica, did you ever think of that tough guy? try watching when someone that doesn't suck is on, ie: Jack fucking Black or John McCain.

Darrel Hamond is still good as well as the weekend update duo.
Sucks that they got rid of Will Ferrel and Tracy Morgan last year.

weekend update was horrible this time...most of the show I didn't laugh either, but I do think it was the hosts.
The show has sucked ever since the original "Not ready for prime time players" cast of Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman & Gilda Radner left. Murphy, Hartman and Farley were cool, Piscopo sucked. He lives in my area. I think I'll go to his house and do the Samurai Deli skit on him.

oh dont get me wrong, i'v fliped by there and watched 30 seconds of it and fliped because it was so stupid, but last night was the first time in a year that I actually decided to watch it, but i couldn't take it after 25 30 min. it was painful to watch it, seriously. btw, I wonder why "G-unit" never made it as a group

I was over at a friend's last night and we turned it on, but the show was over. But after it was one from way back in the day with Akroyd and Murray and those actors. It also had Andy Kaufman doing his Elvis impersonation. Its had some actors that are not that terrible over the last few years. But the show today can't even try to compare to SNL back in the day. The originals were great. Then there were people like Hartman, Sandler, Farley, etc. Ferrell and some of the newer ones weren't bad. I haven't even watched any of this season. I don't see a reason to.
