Sniper Question!

he will stay in the area that he is most comfortable with. He knows the streets of the DC area, so he knows what areas are easy to get in or out of.
 
I think the cops have nothing on him... and he doesn't give a fuck anyway... if he stays in the area... it won't matter... as the police are clueless as to what or who he even is...

C, i dont think the cops are as clueless as you think.. think mr. attorney, are you going to show all your cards in a court case before the trial?? nope.. the cops are holding back info...

How do you know he is not familiar with streets in other areas? I've lived in several cities and know the streets there. It's not that hard to learn.

He has a greater chance of getting caught if he stays put because all the focus is there.


Depends on how cocky he is... not because he knows the streets.

If he wants to create more havoc and fear, he will move.

I don't think this sniper (Personally, I think it's a sniper team) has any emotions involved in this. Military teaches you to be in control of your feelings, seeing the target nothing more than as an object. I doubt he's cocky at all. Being cocky is where you screw up. So far, he hasn't been caught yet. What does that tells us?
 
He has established himself in the DC area. People don't even notice him. If he were to pick up and move, someone would notice that the killings started when he came to the area. It is more than knowing the area, he blends in with the area.

And what is the deal with that van... How come EVERY van like that is not being told to stay put in VA?

I don't think they recon their kills. But i do
think they recon their shooting places.

I agree... But all this blending in and he is in an OBVIOUS white van all the time???

Yeah there are tons of them, but once you know it's his vehicle they are easy to spot.

I think he is cocky. If he was in a parking garage waiting to shoot someone that is with someone else. Your chances of being ID are great. That is cocky.


If he is staying in the same vehicle, that is cocky.
 
I think he lives pretty close to the shootings. Probably drives the vans a short distance to another vehicle then drives home.

It seems that 3 vans have been used so they seem to have access to vans. The vans may come from a company that employs ladders....hence the ladder racks.

He screwed up when he shot an FBI employee though. Funding triples when one of their own gets it.

Hundreds of people, in not thousands, probably drive by him every day, and say to themselves "I wonder if that's the sniper." But they don't call the police because they don't want to seem foolish or paranoid. That is the thing about a plain white van, there are probably hundreds in that area. Before this, nobody would have given one a second thought.

Now that this description is ingrained into everyone's mind, people are going to start seeing them everywhere and the police can't send officers running in every direction looking for white vans. The only thing they can do is set up road blocks and hope they get lucky.

When they do catch him, don't be surprised if it is by accident. Some cop pulls him over for speeding or something and they just get lucky.

I don't think they have an ID... I don't think they know where his next target will be... I think they have an "alleged" white van.

They will kill again. I suspect maybe they will move the area by about 20-30 miles in a direction of their chosing. Probably farther west and south.

Thing that really sucks is that the rifle he is using has long velocity, so a trejectory point is almost impossible without a missed round...
One shot one kill...

Can someone explain to me why he has been tagged as a sniper and not a serial Killer or murderer etc etc. The term sniper hardly befits this fucking moron, almost glorifies him IMO. Just someothing i've been curious about.

I don't think it is glorifying...
Just a way to interpret the individual and understand the methods of the action to snipe, as in sniper....
 
Okay, I'll play the devil's advocate.

What do you consider our military snipers' actions? Taking a person's life isn't something that you would want to be proud about. Killing, Fragging, Terminated, Executed, whatever you want to call it, is still a murder.

It's not by any means to glorifies him, just a label to be associated with him because of the type of weapon he uses and his method of execution. Serial Killer is different because it means that a person wants to see a life slowly dying and enjoys the process of it. This guy doesn't care. He's terminating people because he's doing it for a greater cause.

he's not a snipper. Anyone who has some experience with riffles could do that. It takes more to be a snipper. In french there's a word for a snipper who's working for law enforcment or the army and another word for one who's an irregular and just killing for fun...

The shooter can just work his way around the exits of the Capitol Beltway around DC he hasn't hit yet: Wheaton, Silver Spring, Rt.1-Laurel-it's mostly all the same shit.
I really don't think the sniper go as far south as Fredricksburg again unless this person is there for a reason (work, relatives, etc.) -that's a long ride....plus the added security there now.
I think whoever it is will move a bit north and west- highly populated areas with lots of escape routes abound. Columbia comes to mind as a prime area
 
They said on the news here that they have a number of visuals on the guy with the last one and he is either middle eastern or hispanic (now the terrorist idea has more creed perhaps?) and that they have some of the characters in the license plate now.

Well they are describing an olive skinned man. What I don't understand is that supposedly a man saw this guy lift the rifle to his shoulder and shoot the lady then drive off. If he actually saw the man, why are they not putting out his description on the news?

Why? Because he is not ethnically correct. By that I mean he is not a white, blonde haired, blue eyed Nazi Amercan. They don't want to offend their middle eastern brethern of peace.

If you don't tell the public then how are they going to catch this guy? Bunch of fucking pricks!

Now, I was wrong about tuesday, that is good. But I bet now we don't hear fro this guy for a while and he changes his locale completely since he now knows aobut all the serveillance.
 
Now I'm wondering. What if the guy stops ? I mean he could stop the killings and just leave for another State or country and you couldn't catch him....

btw: I have this sneaky suspicion this guy is doing this because he feels WRONGED by the public. There is a method to the madness. My assumption: He probalby just got out of prison, and was probably convicted by a jury, and either he was innocent, or he's pissed cuz his buddy did the crime and he didn't. So now he wants to get back for the 10-15 years of his life the public took away from him. So if I was a retired FBI agent played by Morgan Freeman in a movie, that's what i would tell Ashley Judd.

I just wonder how many innocent people have been jailed so the cops can pad their conviction rates. A bunch I would think. The system does not work very well unless you have power and money. Then it likely doesn't work at all. You can do almost anything. That is my experience.
