smoking pot

I take two hits off a bong 10 minutes before I work out. This shit sets me in the right mood and I have been gaining steadily for the past 6 months. This is the only time I ever smoke because otherwise it turns me into a vegatable.
 
Im a HUGE pot head.

I would never, however smoke before working out, because for me, it totally does kill motivation. But I do loves me a nice joint post workout and post sex. ANd yes it helps soooo much with the munchies!! :havoc:

I have on occassion workout on a bit of coke and on other occassions workout on a bit of amp. Would recommend doing TOO much of either, but if you think ECA or Clen give you a pre workout kick...well that shit will make you :leap:

Iv eonly dont that like on 3 occasions though.

weed has no effect on muscle growth, positive or negative... i know from personal experience and there has been reports(you can use the serach function) i do notice some estrogen increase when i smoke every day nonstop for a while.. the motivation thing shouldnt be a problem if you get high regulary.. fire the shit up before you train, it makes my workouts smoother and i get more protein after a workout from the munchin..:D
 
Pot will increase estrogen production, but it wont cause your Test or any other homeone to aromatize into estrogen.

I have a strong belief that it does increase estrogen, just because it almost seems as if I get titties after smoking a blunt.
 
Pot does not increase your body's production of estrogen. Rather it itself is mildly estrogenic. Either delta-9-thc or one of its cannabinoid metabolites does indeed have some estrogenic activity.

As far as the dank decreasing test levels, there really is no definative awnser, go ahead and search medline, you'll find a 50/50 ratio of studies each saying the opposite of the other. Personally I feel this effect is highly individual. I have definately seen cases of chronic smokers who some seriously low free-test levels.

Whatever you decide, please use a waterpipe, bong, vaporizer, or something else which cools down the smoke and filters out some of the tar. Research has yet to prove pot to cause lung cancer, but the lungs obviously were not designed to inhale combustible organic material.
 
Bro, smoke all you want i smoke pot every and it has never affected my gains, it's cigereetes that fuck me up.I know plenty of guys that are jacked and smoke weed all the time.I also know plenty of guys that cant est to much that smoke pot to give them an appetite.And also some of my best days in the gym where after I smoke a J, I was zoned out and just went all out.Blaze that shit up baby 420..............:D

i agree. every person reacts differently. and there are maany different strains out there. some stronger than others. i too, have a friend who smokes b4 workouts. and he claims to have greater focus and concentration.

on the other hand, i have read that pot lowers t levels. which may effect you negatively when you are in need for natural test production

Icelandic is correct about it being estrogenic in nature. I have developed slight gyno from AAS use and VERY CHRONIC pot smoking... HIgh grade at least once a day over the last 4-5 years. I use it at night most of the time for my insomnia. I haven't been on AAS in about 6 months, but the gyno got a little worse.

One indicator of it causing better and more sustained pumps can be proved scientifically. Pot works as a vasolidator, opens of the airways and bloodflow. This is why it is good for gluacoma and asthma (although double-edged sword for asthma.lol).
