I'm working behind the scenes on this one. What most people don't realize who are caught up in the smarty hype is that the top horses have had to drop OUT of the Belmont stakes. Smarty Jones is going to be running against a weak field. This looks like a godd shot at a triple crown win.

"The Cliff's Edge" would've put the kibosh on the triple crown if he hadn't injured himself at the derby and bitched out of the preakness. Even so the Belmont is an entirely different track, it's not in the bag by any means. I still don't know who I'm putting my money on.

I never understood why anyone gave a shit about horse racing. It isn't a sport. Iyou are going to feature anybody, I think the Jockeys should be mentioned along with the Horse. Those guys go through hell and get no recognition.

Take a look at his time. He didn't run a great race. The other horses ran a crappy race.
