I finally saw EP 21 as well. How do you think the various cliffhangers are going to be resolved?

1) I think Lex is going to let his dad get smooshed. What better way to begin the rise to power of Superman's powerful arch-nemesis than by the murder of his own father? (Note: I think if he doesn't do jack shit in an attempt to help, it can pretty much be considered murder.)

2) John Kent viciously injured after chasing Nixon out of the storm celler... Nixon killed by the storm, but his older tapes, pictures, and recordings survive and will eventually be uncovered by somebody.

3) Spaceship reveals some information regarding the origin of Clark (maybe images of Krypton or his parents, like in the Superman movie when the crystal built the Fortress of Solitude) to Martha.

4) Clark saves Lana from the twister either by involuntarily flying up to her and getting her out of the truck (since we know he can't fly voluntarily yet)... or he runs around in circles and unwinds the twister like I've seen He-Man do a buncha times. I think #1 would be cooler, especially since it would pretty much guarantee that Lana would find out that something is not quite human about Clark, unless she's reeeeaalllly dumb.

Can't wait for season 2. When does it start anyway? I hate how they do the same shit that they did for Star Trek - "to be continued!" Hope they at least do a 2-hour season premiere where they show the last season's finale first, otherwise no one would know what the hell's up.

Oh yeah... and 5) Chloe gets very pissed.

i must say this is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite shows. i hope they can keep it up next season. one thing i am curious about is whether or not they are going to attempt to keep the overall story of superman consistent with the movies. if so, it makes things difficult because it guarantees that neither lana nor lex will find out anything about clark... as that does not happen until much later in clark's life. it also guarantees that clark and lana will not get together.

personally, i think they should take the liberty of tweeking the story and the chronology of superman.

on a side note... i want to see clark with cloe next season, not dancing around waiting for lana.

The "little brother" episode was well written too. It's a quality series. A lot of its charm too is that we can see the foreshadowing of certain events, like when lex and clark say they'll be friends forever.

I agree with this too. I think clark will fly, but lana will of fallen uncouncioius.

I screamed like a school girl when it is said "to be contunued".

I think clark will learn to fly in this episode or do it without actually controlling it like he did on the episode where he woke up floating and broke the bed.

lex saves his father but works in an angle (i.e. his father feels a debt to him, or his father is disabled etc)

john kent possibly dies (in the movies he dies when clark was a teen)

the ship shows margit sime cool shit

he saves lana by flying up to her, but they get together this series. chloe leaves. lana has a smoaking body and all but she;s a bit of a bitch
