This does depend somewhat on what business you are in. I set up a small business on Quickbooks only to find out their invoices couldn't provide the right combination of columns to accomodate her products.

I called them to complain about that and all they could come up with is that they are using the tax guidelines sent to them by each state. You also have to buy their tax update disks every year to update your program.

If you want to run your own invoices, letterhead, reports, etc., order your forms from a local printer instead of buying their forms through Quickbooks. You will save a ton.
