they used to play at the Caravan Club in Fort Worth all the time, and a club in Houston, damn, I went there all the time and can't remember the name, top floor, Galleria, all windows, sheeeet, well, they played there too.

Excellent band....

Bob Marley’s "Get Up, Stand Up" was inspired by WAR’s "Slippin' Into Darkness" A young and rising Marley toured as WAR’s opening act in the early seventies, and often sat on the skirt of the stage groovin to WAR’s jam of their hit "Slippin."
