Slin users please comment- slin and the pancreas

Slin has been quite popular around here lately. As more and more people include it in their cycle or post cycle therapy, you have to start wondering about its long term ill effects. Sure you can do your research and save your ass now, plus add a few pounds. What about its effects on the pancreas over long period of use? Problems with the pancreas is nothing to fuck with. Does anybody have comments from experience or studies of slins effects on the pancreas?

It is definately a risk you are taking. I know a couple of top BB's who have been diagnosed with diabetes after use. Who knows if it was due to their use of slin or not - but - it is something to consider.

Thanks bro. I like getting feedback because ill effects on the pancreas scares the shit out of me.

This is a good question that i have asked before too, but got little to no info. I guess it examplifies the attitude of most body builders not thinking about long term consequences of using drugs. I would say it must play havoc with the pancreas and it's a risky game to be playing. You can easily end up with diabetes and kidney problems.

Makes you think bro. Slin has been an effective tool for post-cycle in my case, but it seems there is not much talk about its long term effects on the pancreas and kidneys. A pancreas problems insulin use is not unheard of, I have heard of boybuilders becoming diabetic, and having their pancreas shut down.

Things I've "heard" over the years.

1. Allah is a crossdresser.

2. Tom Prince is actually Nicole Bass.

3. EliteFitness is run by the DEA.

4. The DEA is run by terrorists.

5. Pepsi is as addictive as herion.

6. Eminem died of a Vicodin overdose.

7. Cell Phones cause birth deffects.

8. Pigs can fly.

9. Ronnie Coleman is natural.

10. Every 17yr old boy on this board "has heard of" at least 4 probodybuilders who are diabetic due to insulin use.

Let's see some proof that the pancreas will "shut down" from insulin use.

Insulin's nothing new, even though every kid who reads the board thinks it's the latest special drug that turns boys into men, and men into Dorian Yates. Insulin's been used since the mid 80's, that's nearly 20 years, don't you think somebody would have come forward with proof by now?

That depends on a lot of factors. The BodyBuilding community is a very closed off one, with members usually taking so many drugs that if kidney or pancreas problems surfaced you could never really pin it down on a specific compund even IF the affected body builder admitted to drug use, which is a whole different issue all together.

The potential risks of organ damage from insulin use is well documented in medicine. I have a really bad feeling about this in the long run. Don Long could have been a recent victim of kidney failure due to insulin, in part at least. But he had an excuse, as they often do. My favorite is the one that says their problems were do to congenitive reasons. RIIIGGGHHHTTTT.

No one will say "i ruined my health from using tons of drugs", they will say "i have an inherited defect", ofcourse nevermind the fact that if not for the drugs they would have had the organ serve another 50 years.

IMO don't fuck around with insulin. It's a dangerous compund that can be used safely in the short term. But all you have to do is look at some people with pancreas problems/insulin problems with their kidney failure, limbs amputated, loss of eyesight, loss of immune system for ME to realise that i will stick to test and dextrose for my insulin spike.

-Good Post gwl9dta4!

I know slin has been around in the bodybuilding community, but like many drugs in bodybuilding, there is not as much research done on human subjects for the purpose of physical enhancement. There may be extensive research on insulin, but I doubt there is much testing on healthy subjects for the purpose of athletic enhancement. There are also not many studies on human subjects for many things we use like Tren and EQ, or even Test at the doses many bodybuilders use for that matter. It is for this reason that we rely on personal experiences, thus we come in here and ask for responses from personal experience. I do not feel this thread deserves the level of sercasm as in your post because it is a legitimate discussion on a very serious subject that has attracted much popularity. :)
