That would work. I shoot, drink an isopure (no carbs but fast protien) then follow it with 80g dextrose, creatine and glutamine. I'm starving but not hypo at the 1 hour mark. So I eat a clean meal. If I'm ON, I'll follow with a second shake with another 50g of dextrose and 50g of whey or an MRP mixed in. If you work out hard enough and deplete your glycogen you don't need much slin to do the trick. If you have an off day at the gym, skip it you don't need it.. IMHO.. good luck
